Naiyuki is generally a nice guy. He tends to be slightly withdrawn and keeps his problems to himself, and often sacrifices his own happiness to make those around him happy. Though he has plenty of friends, he is perpetually lonely.

Age: 17
Bio: Emiko is Naiyuki's best friend. In contrast to his slightly introverted personality, she is loud, bold, and stubborn. She's not above pouting considerably, either. She always tries to do what's best for Naiyuki, even if it means rarely minding her own business and doing things he'd rather she didn't. She has a big sister complex when it comes to Naiyuki, and tends to freak out when something happens to him.

Emiko is very overly-friendly and slightly gullible (though she doesn't like to admit it), which can sometimes lead to her getting used. But she recovers from emotional blows quickly, and rarely lets anything get her down. She loves kitties, ice cream, and sparkly jewelry, as well as anything that can be described as "cute".

Age: 17
Bio: Ami is Emiko's Beloved. She is very similar to Emiko in the fact that she is loud and friendly, but she is also very easygoing and not nearly as easy to get to as Emiko. She enjoys cracking jokes even at her own expense and has an odd sense of humor that most people fail to understand. She also likes to mother Naiyuki, and has beat up quite a few larger male students for picking on him.

Ami has feelings for Emiko, who has a crush on the class president and has no idea about the way Ami feels.

Age: 32

Bio: Sunao is Naiyuki's World Connections teacher. He is attractive and charismatic, and is able to use this to his advantage to get the students not to fool around during classes. He is very friendly and easy to talk to, and mant of the students come to him with their problems.

When Naiyuki is forced out of his home and found by Kouhei, Sunao (the oldest member of the prestigious Sato family and in charge of the house) takes him in unconditionally, giving him a home and a rather odd makeshift family.  

Bio:  Kouhei is the Beloved of Sunao's brother, Tatsuki. He is quiet, distant, and not exactly friendly. His relationship with Tatsuki is shaky since the two don't tend to get along, and they are rarely seen together, preferring to keep their distance.

Most people who know him describe Kouhei as bizarre. He is nearly always wearing gloves, has the uncanny ability to make it through life more gracefully than many people who can have the ability of sight. Since the only way a Beloved can see is if they are holding hands with their Model, Kouhei is perpetually blind. He also has never been seen smiling. When Naiyuki hears this he vows to be the first person to make him smile, and ends up falling for him in the process, though Kouhei really doesn't want anything to do with those feelings.

Though he saved Naiyuki's life and so Naiyuki does his best to get close to him out of gratitude, he takes an apathetic attitude about the whole situation.

Age: 19

Bio: Takeru is one of Sunao's younger brothers. Surprisingly feminine and flambouyantly gay, he likes to shake things up. He keeps his hair dyed bright pink and dresses in the brightest and sometimes most revealing clothes he can find, most of them designed and created by his own hands. Takeru draws doujinshi for a living, though he also colorizes select manga and designs clothes on the side (usually bright and frilly dresses).

Takeru is extremely loud. He can be very irritating at times due to the fact that he doesn't like to stop talking, and he loves to make new friends and design clothing for the ones he already has. He becomes a surrogate mother for Naiyuki during his time living at the Sato house, and does things such as trying to set him up on blind dates and designing him outfits that he thinks will cheer him up.

Though Takeru often irritates people around him, his heart is in the right place and his intentions are always pure.

 

Age: 21

Bio: A close family friend of the Satos, Akane spends a lot of time at their house. He is very graceful and elegant, and carries himself with the poise of a dance instructor (though he doesn't dance). He is quiet and polite, and though his personality contrasts violently with Takeru's, they are close friends.

Akane owns a local pastry shop and likes to try out his new recipies on the family, meaning that there is usually a large array of sweets at the Sato household. He lives in an apartment above his shop and makes all of his wares by hand.

Several years ago, Akane's Beloved, Riku, was in an accident and went into a coma. Under unexplained circumstances, Riku transferred himself from his own irreparably damaged body into Akane's, where he exists as a second complete personality and comes out when he gets bored. Riku is exciteable, childish, and has feelings for Takeru. He also talks exclusively in third person, and Akane sometimes does this too without realizing.

She eventually develops feelings for Naiyuki, though she knows he is interested in Kouhei. She tries to keep the way she feels a secret, but in the end it's a little too obvious for Naiyuki not to find out.

 

I'll add more characters after I can draw them. I just added the most important ones that didn't have pictures, but later I'll finish this page and add the whole Sato family and a few of Naiyuki's important classmates. Stop by later to meet the new characters! ^^
